So you're a creative wanting some stability? Good for you! Growth as an artist is realizing that it's ok if your art does not pay all the bills. It doesn't make you any less authentic or dedicated to the craft if you need a day job to stay afloat. I often hear artist mention that their art is best when they're not dependent on it for survival, and I totally agree. You can create more freely when it's not tied to a deadline or price tag.
