Resources for Startups and Small Businesses

" Where  there is  no counsel, the people fall; b ut in the multitude of counselors  there is  safety." - Proverbs 11:14 Entrepreneurship may seem like a lonely road, but it doesn't have to be. Even though you are building your own vision, there is still a place for team input. No person possesses every skill set, and it would be a waste of time to try and acquire all the skills needed for your business. Focus on what you do well, and work with people who are experts in other aspects of your business. You were never meant to do it alone.  Resources for Business Owners:  TechTown Detroit | Detroit Entrepreneurship Hub Helping Startups Launch and Grow https://techtowndetroit.org Small Business Administration | Official Government Website for Small Business Resources https://www.sba.gov/ Amazon Small Business Academy | Amazon Resources for Small Businesses https://www.smallbusiness.amazon/

Education work that PAYS

Sometimes we trade higher salaries for peace of mind, and that is ok. The key to finding contentment in our career is to find a career that suits your financial needs and personal goals.  Today, we're highlighting specialized education roles. Good luck!  Education Nonprofits: Consider an administrative position with an education nonprofit if you want to work "on" education instead of "in" education.  Teach for America Staff  City Year International Teaching:  Educators without Borders  - Volunteer to teach in another country.  Teach Away   - Full-time teaching positions in various countries and online.  Education Training & Consulting:  Imagine Learning Benchmark Education Company
